CONNECTICUT KITCHEN BUILD-OUT AND RENOVATION

Above is a kitchen floor plan and perspective drawing that I designed and rendered (using SketchUp) for a family in Connecticut who wished to enlarge and update their 1950's era kitchen.  As you can see in the photo below, the kitchen was quite outdated and too small to meet their cooking and entertaining needs.  The new design program includes a four foot extension into the backyard area to help alleviate circulation issues and provide additional counter space, a new island with seating, a bar area, updated appliances, easy access open shelving on the sink side of the island, and a large triple casement window with expansive outdoor views.
